| Answers: would this be conservative enough to wear for job interview? I will be interviewing in a couple of weeks ( I have already made it through two phone interviews) with a large world wide company for a Medical Case Manager position. I plan to wear a very nice gray business suit with a white shirt with a red pin stripe in it. Will it be ok to wear business like red shoes to add a pop of color or do I need to go more conservative and wear basic black shoes? |
| During job interviews it is best if you wear the best suit or any formal wear that you have. This will add up with your overall impression. But well, just make sure that you are not that over accessorized and all, just be yourself and just respond to the questions of the interviewer honestly and confidently. Anyway, have a great day guys and just keep all of those posts coming in. |
| I presume you are a woman. Well there are plenty of business suits to choose from. The most important thing is that your attire suits the event where you will go, and it fits you well including the shape and size. At times I consult the internet for some basic business suits. It provides lots of tips for women business suits. For sure, you can learn from it. Great day. |
| I think, black shoes would really be an appropriate wear to have. In applying for a formal job, it is really necessary to be very at ease with what you wear. It should not be in a red seductive shoes which makes you not serious in applying for the job. Always remember that first impression would be a great key in having the trust of your future company . |
| It really depends on the shoes. THe kind of red shoes I am imagining are not what I would wear at a job interview, but if your prospective employers see it as you trying to be funny and they don't have a sense of homour, then I do not think its worth the risk. It is better to should your personality by your willingness to work and do a good job, something they'll be much more interested in. |
| "Interview suit"
I think it's ok for you to dress like you want. The left you need to do is to make sure your face is clean and the gestures you post. |
| "Context"
You need to dress in the context appropriate for the job you are applying for. For example, if you are applying for a basic labor job and appear in a $2, 000 business suit, you will appear out of place. If you apply for a $2, 000, 000 a year job as a CEO in torn jeans and an undershirt you'll be out of place too. Do you best to give yourself a professional appearance, within the context of the job. |
