Shopping for baby clothes, heeeelp!? - Big and Tall Suits
| Shopping for baby clothes, heeeelp!? Hi all! Ok, perhaps its slightly early for me to be buying stuff, i am 20 years old and 16 weeks pregnant though found out last week i am having a girl, i am abit anxious about this pregnancy as i have been having light bleeding, been told that the baby is fine, they did a swab on me and came back clear so have no infections but have been bleeding lightly for a week now, even though they said all is Ok naturally i am worried... But anyway, when i went for my baby's emergency scan when the bleeding began thats when they told me i was having a girl =D Although im a bit apprehensive i went and ordered some clothes from the internet, i bought sizes 0-3 months. The reason i didnt buy newborn sizes was because i am tall, so i thought maybe the baby might be a little tall lol.. Well, the clothes arrived today, the dresses look like a good size though the all in one suits look a little large, i cant imagine them fitting a newborn baby.. I dont mind them being a little big, because at least she can wear them when shes a couple of months older so its not like they will go to waste, however do you think its wise that i buy newborn sizes from now on? I know baby's grow quickly so im not planning on getting much, but what sizes shall i buy for straight after she has been born? Does it matter that i am tall, will my baby be tall or just the same as any new born baby?? Help lol, im clueless, this is my first! Many thanks in advance, God Bless =] x |
| I totally agree with you that this can be rocket science. I remember when my elder sister got pregnant with her first baby we were so excited that on the 7th month of her pregnancy we would buy what looked appropriate for the baby. We did not know the sex of the baby so we mixed both blue and pink clothes. They all looked sooo cute!!!We could not wait to try them on on our newborn niece or nephew. When the baby arrived we were so shocked because two weeks of my nephews life he had outgrown all the clothes...Can you imagine our disappointment because some of these clothes he had only worn them only a couple of times.... So we had to start square one again, back to the shops to get our lovely nephew some new clothes. But this time we were wiser we bought him clothes that he could wear till they got worn out... No matter what size you are whether big or small, believe me your baby will grow faster than you... So my advise to all mothers to be please buy the babies clothes 3 months bigger than their age because they grow sooo fast... |
