| Questions: Wedding tomorrow help with how to wear this properly!!? We have a wedding to attend tomorrow which is formal but on the beach and the reception is held in a building which is also right on the water. My husband was going to wear one of his suits (he has two navy and a dark grey) but I heard that the men were wearing more casual (blazers sport coats etc) my question is can he wear one of his suit jackets with khaki pants?? I borrowed a friend's sport jacket for him to wear but I don't like how it looks on him. Help!! thanks! |
| If in doubt, ask. It always works, believe me. Ask the couple themselves on what to wear and what not to. They have went through all of the trouble to set up a beach wedding, then they should at least consulted with the wedding planner regarding the clothing scheme. You don't want to stand out or look so out of the picture don't you. We can always advised you on what to wear but that is based in our own experiences, but what if that is not how the wedding would go? Go ask. |

| Considering the venue of the wedding, I think it's perfectly fine if your husband will wear a suit jacket with khaki pants. You might also want to check if they have a beach theme because that would mean he should wear something summery like khaki pants and floral polo. Well, he can wear that and just bring his suit jacket for the reception. He can also wear casual shoes to go with his attire. |
