Article: Strategy to follow in mens suit

Thank author of this post/commentDouble breasted Mens suits are forever kept completely buttoned. For single breasted Mens suits, when standing, all buttons other than the bottom one are fastened. Either case of three button suits with lapels, which roll over the top button, the top button must not be build up. Under no situation fasten the bottom-most button of a single-breasted suit jacket. To put off "grouping, " the single-breasted jacket must be kept fully unbuttoned while the wearer is seated.

I've never thought too much about how to button the suit. Whenever I buy the suit, I make sure it is one that works with my body type and looks good. Buttons never came into my mind as having an affect on the look of the suit so thanks for the article!

Wow! Formal Business Suits is one of the things that I really find difficult in buying for my husband. Anyways, I am just happy that you have put here the guidelines that we can use. I don't know why my husband wants me to buy and choose his Formal Business Suits for him. Maybe he finds it difficult, too. Thanks.

It is funny, despite what this article says, I have been in many formal situations where the suits of upper class men were not buttoned in the way this person describes, specifically when standing. It usually depended upon what the person was doing, but it seemed that the suit was fully buttoned when standing, and unbuttoned when seated, unless the person was wearing a vest underneath in which case it was often left fully unbuttoned at all times.

Well, it is not easy to dress up especially for those men who have issues with themselves, with the way they look. And so, this kind of tips on dressing up, especially with formal business suits for men, is one thing that surely would help so many men out there who have some fashion issues.
